At Okeedokee Early Learning Centre, our families enjoy all of the benefits of the mega-centres, without your little ones getting lost in the crowd or spending their day in over-sized, noisy and intimidating spaces.

Being a smaller environment, we are able to offer more consistent, individualised and meaningful care as well as provide them with more specific learning opportunities.   The children and families soon become familiar with our wonderful staff as well as the other families in our little Okeedokee community, making for a more seamless progression through the rooms as our little ones grow.

We offer events throughout the year for our families to come together as a community and celebrate variety of key dates, but most importantly, every day, in every room, we take the time celebrate the little things with our children.

Okeedokee Early Learning Centre is a purpose built centre, renowned in the Norman Park community for excellence in early childhood education and care.  Located centrally, the centre itself offers a contemporary and unique environment, providing an enriching  child care experience for our families.

As a private, family owned centre, the licensees strive to create a strong sense of community both within the centre and in reaching out to our wider community.

In addition to our state-of-the-art facilities, we believe our educators are exceptional people who are passionate and caring in delivering excellence in early childhood education and care.

Guided by the nationally recognised ‘Early Years Learning Framework’ (EYLF) curriculum, we adhere to principles, practices and learning outcomes leading to Being, Belonging and Becoming, essential to support and enhance young children in their learning and transition to school.

The framework places a strong emphasis on play-based learning and provides the most appropriate stimulus for brain development.  It also recognises the importance of communication and language (including Early Literacy and Numeracy) as well as social and emotional development.
